Dennis Brack, an award-winning photographer who has covered Washington political events for more than 25 years, recently sent an e-mail to his colleagues, clients, and friends. We excerpt it here as a model for other professionals interested in remaining visible.
The Elbe River: Cindy and I saw Bastei Bridge in the Saxon region of Germany, Dresden, and Prague for the first time, but Wittenberg, Germany, was our favorite. Martin Luther’s home, especially his study, and the doors of the Castle Church in Wittenberg where Martin Luther posted the ninety-five Theses or Disputation on the Power of Indulgences, were the highlight of this adventure.
At the White House presidential administrations come and go. I’ve seen eleven of them. Some journalists resent covering the new administration, but I take them as they come. It’s sort of like watching a preview of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE!
